NET ZERO HUNTER PLEDGE

In early 2021 a concept for the establishment of an alliance/consortium known as Net Zero Hunter was developed. 

The initiative aims to:

• Create a supported network of champions and organisations with a coordinated approach to regional transition.
• Co-design a regional Net Zero Roadmap
• Identify collaborative opportunities to advanced outcomes towards a net zero future for the region.

There are a significant number of local organisations that have already committed to net zero emissions or at the very least, committed to a sizeable reduction in emissions and a push towards renewable energy. We would like to acknowledge their bold mission and actions to deliver their ambitious targets.
